From the designers’ runways all the way into our bedrooms, texture is the hot new trend in bedding…and one that I personally love! The use of texture can add so much dimension and uniqueness.
Every surface has texture. What I am referring to is the use of different textures to effect others interests. More technically, I am referring to visual texture – even though the tactile texture may be affected as well. Both types are very important elements of design.
Color and pattern have long since been key factors in determining what may lend its way into your life. However, in the bedroom, the play of texture is becoming more of a key element in setting the mood in our personal haven.
One misconception that may come to mind when you think about bedding texture is roughness. For instance, take our Ingrid Standard Sham.
